Member competition

Short story rules

1. Entry is open to members of Writing Club. One entry per member per competition.

2. Membership application to Writing Club may be made with the competition entry. (See here for how to join)

3. Entries must the original and unpublished work of the entrant and not be submitted elsewhere for publication, or for another competition, while judging is in progress for this competition.

4. No entry form is required.

5. Paste your entry into the body of an email in text only format.
Entries sent as attachments only are void and will be deleted unread.

6 Please include, beneath the entry, a story word count, a 50-word author's bio, contact number, email and your postal address for remission of the prize should you be the winner.

7. Email your entry here before the closing date of midnight on January 15, 2008.

8. A confirmation email of receipt of your entry will be sent.

9. No alterations or changes will be allowed to entries once received, no correspondence will be entered into.

10. Judges will be appointed by Writing Club and a judge's decision is final.

11. The winner grants the organizers the right to publish the winning entry on www.writingclub.org and on www.askaboutwriting.net as part of the competition prize.

12. Entry to the competition means acceptance of these rules.
