where writers are never alone

There is no common formula for writing a publishable romance or mainstream women's fiction novel.

Many who attempt to run off a romance novel find they are unable to sustain the effort to book length.

Writers who enjoy reading romance fare better in composition, since appreciation for this type of book will be apparent in the writing, according to romance publishers.

The modern audience is largely a female readership. The writers for the most part are women, though a number of men take to the genre and succeed very well in consistently producing sought-after work.

Modern romances offer emotional and sensual excitement and although grounded in reality, the stories are essentially escapist romantic fantasies that take the reader on an emotional journey with resolution in sight.
