oOo
There
are as many poems as there are poets.
Some write poetry
that insinuates into the mind and remains forever.
Others
produce poetry that makes the reader wonder, why?
There are poetry competitions that restrict a poet to theme and length.
Some poets enter to earn a prize or establish a name.
Other
poets eschew such restraints and write as they will.
Who is
to say what, or whom, is correct.
A common
thread is love of words, of language and imagery.
Long may it continue.
