The story:
Margo Hunter comes to an unexpected crossroad in her life when, on an impulse, she walks out on her husband on a French motorway following their umpteenth row about her inability to read a roadmap. A chance lift with a truckdriver taking horses to a chateau in the Loire valley (with an initial detour via Paris) pitches Margo into another life. Will her husband find her before Margo finds herself?

Meet Grainne, the truckdriver with attitude, Milady, the ageing French beauty with a secret, her sons, kind consderate Francois and wild but handsome Jacques and a number of other intriguing characters and find out what happens to Margo when she walks out of her life and, like Alice behind the looking glass, into another existence.
