A First Kiss

Posting for the first time to a forum is a little like a first kiss; approached with trepidation, excitement and wonder, and never forgotten.

While we cannot assist in your love life we can offer some simple steps on the way to a first post on Writing Club.

The easiest way is to post a short message about yourself and your writing interests, perhaps.

1. Log in using your membership password

2. Choose Writing Club Members' Area

3. Choose New Members

4. Select New Topic

5. Place a few words in the subject line as a header; try to avoid words like newbie, or Hi, or new member, which tend to be over-used.

6. Write a short message in the larger white box below.

7. Scroll down and select preview to see how your message will appear; when you are happy with the words; press submit and you have posted to Writing Club.

The same procedure applies to posting a new topic in any other area.

To reply to an existing topic or thread, simply select post reply, write a response and submit.

Be a writer.
Join the community of writers.
Add your post to the forum.
